VALL DE BARCEDANA
Our centuries-old olive trees are located in the heart of a unique geological setting created by the forces of nature, which raised two mountain ranges that encircle beautiful Vall de Barcedana valley in Pallars Jussà County.
Over the centuries, the fertile soil and favourable climate have resulted in the development of a number of indigenous olive varieties, including Massanell, Olivera de Llimiana, Negral, Grossal and Bagó de Raïm. The highly prized Arbequina variety is also grown here with certain local idiosyncrasies.
From its perch overlooking what is known as “the path of a hundred curves”, the chapel of Sant Salvador del Bosc watches over our olive trees as they grow and thrive under the valley’s changing skies.
